Studying is very important in school, in fact it is the main reason for school. Mostly you’ll hear people asking a student questions like, “How are your studies going?” Whether you are writing a test next week, tomorrow or a month from now you need to know the time that is best for studying in order to produce the exceptional results.

Studying in the Morning (00:00 to 12:00)
Studying in the morning is both great and effective especially if you made sure that you had the optimal 6-8 hours of sleep.
Did you know that your brain is most active for the first few hours of being awake. Yes after those hours, your brain gets tired and it needs rest, so if you study during the first 2 to 4 hours of being awake you have the advantage of analysing, solving and memorizing much quicker and faster
The second advantage of studying first thing in the morning is focus, you get more focused when you study in the morning. For starters your brain is not clouded with the stress and worries from social media so it’s obvious you get to relax and let the data flow.
The third thing is discipline, yes you generally become disciplined if you study early in the morning. That time you got up with no noise when it was just you and your choices makes you relaxed and disciplined.
Studying in the Afternoon (12:00 to 18:00)
To be honest a lot of students prefer not to study around this time. I mean we have friends and a lot of other things that require our time and attention. So studying during this time is a bit of a pickle for most students.
The afternoon is also the time when most students cook and eat so a lot of students really just do not like this time, however, studying in the afternoon is very productive. According to the scientific research carried out by Cooper Jane it turns out that because the afternoon is the time when we eat and relax, our brains store information in a very logical or well organised way.
Whether it is solving math or studying biology the brain keeps the information very securely and helps you think about problems.

Studying at Night (18:00 to 24:00)
The night is very good for studying. However, in the night you tend to be distracted by things that are going on your life so you tend to be less focused. In the night you will have a lot of stress because of all kinds of things that are going on in your life.
You can study yes but your brain won’t be operating at its peak performance; the stress from your parents or your partner or friend or teacher can look like it has no effect on us when in actuality the compounding stress of the day depletes more of our energy than anything else. How am I so sure that the stress at the end of the day is more than that in the morning?
Try doing 10 push-ups, you will certainly realise that the first push-up will be the easiest push-up you’ll do and the last will be the toughest. In the same analogy, what you do when you first wake up will be done with more energy and more focus than anything else you do later.
So what’s my opinion?
Let me tell you how I do it when I’m at school.
I study from 4 to 6:30 then during any free period I answer an assignment or do the work on anything that needs my attention academically; From 18 to 20 I study. Then 20 to 22 I relax by watching a movie, talking to my girlfriend, playing chess, reading a book, coding or working on STudy STar.
My relaxation period greatly varies with how much home work I have for the day.
