Becoming The Best Student. DAY 11: Increasing Effectiveness

Let’s go over what effectiveness means. In simple terms being effective means producing great results. Effectiveness is one’s ability to yield great results from little to no input. Don’t get confused here, effectiveness is not efficiency.

To start with increasing effectiveness is simple but not easy. Simple is something that’s straightforward while easy is something that can be done with little to no effort. So increasing effectiveness is simple and not easy. We will be using a method of memorization known as brute forcing.

On day 11 let us increase our effectiveness with the following steps:

1. Read through the passage of what you want to memorize to get a birds view of the idea being conveyed.

2. Highlight the definitions and key points of the passage.

3. Try writing down the definitions and key points without looking at the text.

4. Repeat the writing down process 3 times.

Surprisingly this method is very effective and it works wonders (almost 100%).

So, follow the routine as usual, make schedule and study with this technique.
