Becoming The Best Student. DAY 4: Meditation

On the 4th day of becoming the best student, we do things exactly like we did on the 3rd day but now our main focus here is meditating the right way.

1. As always once you wake up make your bed.

2. Meditate for 5 to 10 minutes.

The purpose of meditation is to make your mind positive and for you to carry that positivity throughout your day.

Here are the steps on the right way to do it

Step 1: Set a timer for 5 minutes

Step 2: Sit in comfortable position

Step 3: Close your eyes

Step 4: Take a deep breathe in and deep breathe out.

Your mind will start to wonder and think of a lot of different things and that's normal. In fact that's what we want. This is called monkey mind because your mind will be jumping from one thought to another.

Do not get discouraged because it is those thoughts we want to control. Do not force anything out of your mind, rather focus on one thought.

You will get lost from time to time but just bring back that one thought you chose to focus on. Once your 5 minutes is done and the timer goes off, know that you have successfully meditated for the first time.
