Achievement is a word that thrown around quite often but often misunderstood. What does it mean to achieve? To achieve something means to get what you want after a series of actions. E.g. becoming a top student after studying very hard for a lot of hours or becoming a great chess player after years of practice or coming out number #1 in a race after months of practice; that’s achievement.

Effort is one’s ability to do what seems to be difficult and not fun. Usually, effort can be used interchangeably with hard work. The crazy fact is that achievement depends on effort, even the most talented need some kind of effort in order for them to achieve something.

The relationship between effort and achievement is incredible such that you cannot achieve something without effort. Look at your life right now, the part of your life where you are not satisfied with and part where you have the least effort.
